have ahd to replace inner tubes and tires  about every 75 flight hours on my 2011 sportcruiser at a flight school. any ideas on how to prevent this by operation or brand of tire and tube? thanks

Mike - are you using the Goodyear Flight Custom tyres and inners? we normally find that these last very well. If you have the earlier AirTrac tyres on your plane I'd suggest to upgrade next time you need to. Also checking that there are no sharp edges or contaminants between the outer and inner or on the rim - even a tiny twig or suchlike can cause early tyre failure. Finally also check that you are using some suitable lubricating paste as appropriate on fitting to reduce internal friction.
