When might there be an LOA for installing an ADS-B on earlier models of the Sport Cruiser/Piper Sport?

I'm upgrading my Garmin GTX330 to 'ES'. The new US Distributor in Florida has not responded to my email requests for help and now I'm starting to wonder if I even need an LOA as this will simply be upgrading existing factory equipment. I'll use the GTX 330 with the extended squitter (ES) upgrade for "out" compliance, and use my Stratus/iPad/Foreflight combo for everything I want for in (traffic & weather).

Has anyone had good results working with the new US Florida distributor 'Cruiser'? So far, I've sent two emails to them without response.

I have emailed them several times re ADS B and they have been most helpful. Maybe try calling them? I am currently installing a Garmin 345 to replace my old 330 also putting in an Area Map 796 which will bluetooth to the Garmin unit for traffic weather etc. The only problem I have run into is placement of the new GPS antenna I would rather not have it on t he front of the cowling as suggested but there may not be another option for it

Hi Daniel,

Things have improved and Candace at Cruiser is responsive and helpful these days.

Since I had a GNS430W in the SC, and the GTX330, it was an easy decision to simply update the GTX330 for ADS-B/Out. I continue to use my Stratus for 'In'.
