Hi, so what about EASA certification for sportcruiser/piper. In Spain in order to get permit to fly you have to lie to civil aviation saying that it was built from the kit by yourself. I have learnt this after waiting for my sportcruiser numbers for over a year. dealers do not explain this before selling the aircraft to you.
Hi Jerzy, I'm not sure about the situation in Spain, but certainly in UK & Most of europe (all countries that engage with EASA), the aircraft is approved for a permit to Fly by EASA (approved Flight Conditions), which allow us to fly the aircraft ready to fly from the factory. In previous years, the aircraft was only available as a kit here in the UK also, so nice that EASA is a progressive body.
