Hey Tim. I'm getting mine delivered in 2016. Joined this forum to follow discussions. Not very active. The active forum is http://www.scflier.com. Learned a lot there. I've flown Evektor SportStars, and have had a Remos for a few years. Both fine aircraft, but the SC has them beat for range and cargo space. What are you flying now?
The POH Vno for the SC is 108 kts. For economy, I cruise my current 912ULS at 5000 rpm for around 100-105 kts and get 3.5-4.0 gal/hr efficiency. The SC will probably burn 5.0 by comparison. Call Bryan Gorman at US Sport Acft at KADS, 817-832-8243.
Well, we live in Mooney country. Can't go wrong there. Certainly a greater useful load. Go with your gut.
