Spin recovery

This is probably an old thread but renewing my license on a sportcruiser then in the market to purchase. Will be a toss up between FD CTMC and sportcruiser but tending towards low wing as I loved my RV 7. I am a bit of a conservative pilot so need the BRS, AP and fuel in tanks. I did read an old thread  back in 2009 about poor spin recovery of sportcruiser. Does anyone know whether there have been any design mods to rectify?

I'm sure this response is too late to make a difference, but here goes...

To my knowledge there are NO spin recovery problems with the SportCruiser. You may have heard of problems with the SkyCatcher instead.

From someone who has been intimate with SportCruisers since  2010, it would be tough to get a SportCruiser into a spin inadvertently. The stall is extraordinarily forgiving. I've attached a link to a Czech Sport Aircraft promo video... later in that video you will see an aerial shot of a SportCruiser intentionally spun... not an issue.
