Has anyone had a bad experience when making a Warranty request on the Airframe ?
Has anyone seen long lead times on the delivery of Airframe parts when needing repairs ?
Thanks,

Hi Ron - US Sport Aircraft in the USA will be holding more common parts, but if you need anything specific for an airframe then this may come direct from the CSA factory - we look after the UK and one of our clients recently had an unfortunate close encounter with a hedge (no one hurt, wet day, error that any of us could have made as a pilot etc.)... however the factory were helpful and dispatched within a week replacement parts for the damaged flaps and leading edges etc. To the USA this would have a little more transit time I expect but airmail can be pretty quick (we had a replacement Dynon unit fro m the USA in about two days - great service from those guys)..
So I would not worry too much about the availability of spares (and note that a good amount of what is in a SportCruiser can also come from the likes of Aircraft Spruce - eg Matco brakes etc. The construction of the aircraft is very robust and easy for an engineer to work on (all logical under the cowl etc.).
If you are considering the aircraft for training use? if so you may wish to call one of the many other FTO's with them in daily use and see how they have been going... generally all good news. Don at US Sport and ourselves have good conttacts at the factory if anything needs chasing.
Regards
Ben
Thank you Ben,
