And what might the "Stealth Cruiser" have been? Your message is cut off.

    thanks

    Thank you.

As a side note, as a flyer of the plane, wondering if they plan to offer any "logo" apparel.

Great job on the site, by the way. Do you have a url for your company's site?

Thanks much for the reply to my question.

Hi. That's me. I thought it was about time I made myself known!
I'll be putting photos up soon.

Hi Ben, I don“t know him as I bought mine over 1,5 year ago from spanish dealer who is no longer selling sportcruiser. I have over 150 hrs on it. It is fine plane although i had lots of problems with breakes and low CHT temperatures especially in the winter time. I have just come across this website accidently. It is great that we can communicate with other owners. All the best. Jerzy.

Ben, I used the plates provided by the factory, the problem is that in winter I sometimes fly from sea level to higher mountains and temp goes from +15 to -15 at 10.000. I installed the oil thermostate plus usuall american tape on the radiator and it goes a little better. I will get in touch with Leo for the brakes as it is second time they leak on one side and air gets into the tubes. Jurek

    Hello Ben,
As maybe the newest member to the group I just want to introduce myself and say hello to evefryone. I recently retired and have decided that my wife and I really don't need our Lance anymore and after reading about the Piper Sport (Sport Cruiser ) i have decided to sell the Lance and buy a new Sport Cruisetr. So hopefully in the very short future I will be a new owner. I have never even seen on in real life. I have been going top Sun-N-Fun and Oshkosh for years but never considered a LSA until I read the article; so I guess the magazines pay.. i will keep the group up to date on the progress.
    Best regards, Dick

I noticed the sunshade on your photos. Can it be retrofitted to my airplane and how difficult is it? How much is it?
    Thanks,
    Urs
  • Urs Heim

Thanks Ben! In the mean time I have spoken to Vojtech about this and the factory will provide me with the sunshade directly.
Re the exhaust box cracks: My airplane has 115 hours on it and not cracks. Would it be advisable to exchange the exhaust box anyway or wait until the problem actuallly turns up?

    Best regards
    Urs
  • Urs Heim

ok, I will do that. Thank you! Urs

Ben I have another question for you if you would please. Not having any experience with the Rotax engine i keep wandering about the cruise RPM. Rotax advertises 5500 RPM continuous is OK, but it sure seems like a high RPM to be running the engine in max cruise at 5500. Are the engines built that well that this continuous RPM is not a problem and would you recommend running at that RPM or close to it. I would appreciate hearing your opinion or others in the group. I want to obtain the best cruise speed but not at the expense of engine reliability.
    Thanks,
    Dick

Ben I noticed that after a flight the elevator trim tab is always slightly up (about 1/2 inch) which indicates to me that I'm flying with down elevator. To confirm this i took the PiperSport up and trimmed it for level flght and didn't touch the trim. After landing I checked the trim tab and indead it was up which means I am flying with some down elevator ion level flight.
Have you noticed this on other SportSruisers or PiperSports?
    Thanks,
    Dick
