Cruise power settings for sportcruiser with a rotax 912uls and 3-blade VP woodcomp prop

We have been flying our sportcruiser at 4850rpm and 26" getting 100kts, this was based on a recommendation and up to now has suited us. However, recent contact with Rotax suggested a much higher rpm around 5200 with 26". This seems a bit high and will have an increased noise level. Most pilots seem to use 4800-4900 for their cruise rpm but can someone provide some feedback as to what's best for the engine and a reasonable cruise speed ?
