Air vent scoops

Recently bought a beautiful 2011 CSA (like that term) and just lost left side fresh air intake plastic scoop in flight.  Patrick sent a new one within a couple days and I installed today.  In addition to adhesive, anyone considered a pop rivet near top and bottom for added strength.  Love the plane, but lots to learn as not a steam gauge in site!  Thanks for any help.
